I grew up understanding that a home is more than a house. It's the place your kids come back to, the address on your grandkids' birthday cards, the one thing a family can point to and say this is ours.
I earned my B.S. in Business Management from Shaw University, where I became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Then I spent fifteen years in the oil and gas industry– operations, union and a lot of hours. That work taught me how large systems actually run and how easily a small mistake or a missed deadline can cost someone everything.
In February 2026 I founded Prairie Street Consulting, LLC along with my wife Christina Alexander, with one question in mind: what would it look like if someone who knows how these systems work sat down on the other side of the table– next to the homeowner, the first-time business owner, the small contractor- and walked them through?
I'm a husband, father of three, and a grandfather of three girls. That's who we're building this for.
Displacement. Every year, families lose homes they could have kept- not because they were reckless, but because nobody explained the redemption period, the deadline, or the paperwork in plain language before it was too late. Our tax lien consulting is built to step into that window and help people stay.
Locked doors. Government contracts, business formation, and the "official" side of running a company were designed by and for people who know the rules. Our Government Contracting and Business Launch Kits open those doors for everyone else.
The mission is anti-displacement housing and economic empowerment. The method is simple: teach the rules, do the work alongside you, and tell you the truth even if it's not what you want to hear.
Prairie Street Consulting, LLC is two people. When you call you get Christina or myself- not a call center, not a handoff. One-on-one, in plain language, and we don't take on more clients than we can personally serve.

Christina Alexander is co-owner and Chief Financial Officer of Prairie Street Consulting, LLC. She leads our government contracting consulting — federal, state, and local — and is a commissioned Tennessee notary. Christina has over 30 years experience in government procurement contracting that she brings to every client engagement.
