Everything people ask before they start a business with us — cost, timing, what's included, and what happens after launch. From Prairie Street Consulting, LLC, Hendersonville, Tennessee.
A done-with-you package that takes an idea to a legally formed, bankable, findable business — LLC formation, EIN, operating agreement, bank account setup guidance, and depending on the kit, your books, templates, business email, Google Business Profile, and website. One point of contact, one plan, real dates. You don't leave with a folder of paperwork; you leave with a business.
The State of Tennessee charges $50 per member to file Articles of Organization, with a $300 minimum (and a $300 minimum annual report each year after). That fee goes to the state, not to us. Other states differ — Texas is $300 flat, for example. Our kit fee is separate and covers the work of getting it done right the first time.
Starter — LLC filing, EIN, operating agreement, bank setup guidance, a launch checklist, and a planning call. Growth — everything in Starter plus bookkeeping setup, contract and invoice templates, business email and Google Business Profile, logo direction, and a 30-day plan. Full Launch — everything in Growth plus a website of up to six pages with booking and payments, social profiles, and a 90-day plan with monthly check-ins. Kits range from $500 to $10,000 depending on scope.
About four to five weeks from signing to launch for a Starter kit, if you hit your dates. You get a week-by-week plan at signing that shows exactly what we need from you and when. Miss a date and launch moves the same number of days — we say that up front so there are no surprises.
Yes, and the order matters: LLC first, then EIN in the LLC's name, then the bank account under the LLC with the EIN. Then the domain, email, Google Business Profile, and website under the business name. Doing it out of order is the most common mistake we clean up.
Yes. We've launched clients in Michigan and Texas as well as Tennessee. Filing rules and fees differ by state, and we adjust the plan for yours.
No. We are not attorneys or CPAs. We prepare and file standard formation documents, set up systems, and walk you through the steps. When your situation needs an attorney or a CPA, we'll tell you and, if you'd like, refer you to one.
You get a handoff with every login, document, and deadline in one place, plus a short list of what's due in the next twelve months (annual report, taxes, renewals). Growth and Full Launch clients also get scheduled check-ins. And when you're ready to sell to the government, or need website maintenance you already know who to call.
